Arche's Hatcho Miso is made from soybeans and roasted barley flour. The miso develops its characteristic intense and savoury taste due to the long maturation period. It is perfect for hearty stews and soups, vegetable or meat dishes.
Please note that this miso has not been pasteurized.
Facts about miso: The darker the miso, the longer the fermentation time and thus the more intense the taste. If the taste is too intense for you, you should try a lighter coloured miso.
