Description
Transform your kitchen into your very own festive Christmas market and bring comforting winter moments home with this premium organic spice blend. The harmonious composition of aromatic cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and aniseed meets the fruity, festive notes of hibiscus blossoms, elderberries, and zesty orange and lemon peels.
A fine, warming kick from ginger, allspice, and cubeb pepper rounds off the flavour profile beautifully. Developed by experienced top chefs, this creation effortlessly elevates classic mulled wine, fiery winter punches, seasonal teas, or alcohol-free fruit punch in next to no time.
Preparation Tip:
- Heat 70g of raw cane sugar with 4 tbsp of water in a pot over medium heat until the mixture turns into a beautiful, golden-yellow caramel.
- Carefully pour in 0.75 litres of red wine to deglaze the liquid caramel.
- Next, stir in 4 to 6 teaspoons of the spice blend and leave the entire mixture to infuse gently for about 5 minutes.
- Simply pour the hot drink through a fine sieve before serving.
