ITA-SAN Short-Grain Sushi Rice, 500 g

Short-Grain Sushi Rice by ITA-SAN is ideal for shaping homemade nigiri, maki rolls and colourful poke bowls. Once cooked, the selected short-grain rice develops the pleasantly sticky texture needed for sushi and readily takes on the flavour of vinegar, sauces and seasonings.

Use it to create your own sushi combinations at home or as a versatile base for Japanese-style rice bowls.

Preparation tip:
Rinse the rice thoroughly, then cook it with water in a 1:1 ratio. Simmer over a low heat for around 15 minutes, then leave to rest for a further 10 minutes before seasoning and serving with fish, chicken or crisp vegetables.
