Description
Nana mint (like Moroccan mint) goes very well with tea blends with black tea or green tea. The fresh, minty flavour is lovely on both hot or cold days.
You can also use the gently dried mint leaves as a seasoning for salads like tabbouleh (a traditional salad from North Africa made with bulgur or couscous) or potato salad, meat dishes or chocolate desserts.
Nana mint does not contain menthol, but it does contain carvone - a natural essential oil also found in caraway and dill.
