Rapunzel bioSnacky Sprout Seeds - Broccoli, 30 g

Mildly spicy in taste and versatile - organic bioSnacky broccoli sprouts are delicious with salads, on bread, in smoothies, summer rolls and dips.

Tips: Soak in water for six hours before germinating. Ideal germination temperature: 18 - 22 °C. The germination period is four to six days.

Recipe suggestion for Sprout Pesto:

Ingredients:

• 2 tbsp broccoli sprouts (or other sprouted sprouts of your choice)
• 2 tbsp watercress sprouts
• 2 tbsp sunflower oil
• 2 tbsp cashew butter
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 clove garlic
• Salt and pepper to taste

Method: Finely puree the sprouts, sunflower oil, cashew butter, soy sauce and garlic clove in a blender. Season with salt and pepper and your pesto is ready!

Other tips: Strong cheese goes well with this pesto. You can also add a little more oil if you like. If you don't use the pesto right away, you can transfer it to a clean glass jar with a lid, cover it with oil and refrigerate. This keeps the pesto fresh for longer.
