Crushed Hyssop has a spicy, earthy flavour that is slightly tart like spinach. The taste of the herb has a slightly sweet menthol note.
Tips & Preparation:
- The slightly tart taste of hyssop goes well in soups and salad dressings. It also flavours vegetable stews, fresh spreads and chicken. Sweet tooths can add a little hyssop in a summer apricot cake, you'll be surprised at how well the flavours combine!
