Description
Organic long-grain brown rice has a nutty taste and remains firm to the bite when cooked. It is ideal as a side dish, in rice salads, in soups and in fillings. Brown is highly nutritious because it retains the germ and the bran which are both high in nutrients. The 1 kg pack is a good size to have in the kitchen so you can whip up healthy and delicious meals at any time.
Preparation: Bring to the boil and simmer gently over low heat for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then cook further as desired such as stir-fries, fillings etc.
