The Madonie mountain range in Sicily offers breathtaking nature, a rich history and many unique flavours from food that grows around this region. Local farmers understand the art of extracting the legendary manna from the bark of the manna ash (plant genus Fraxinus). This tree sap is valued as a sugar substitute and also has a very special flavour.
Manna is used to sweeten Fiasconaro's delicacies. In addition to making manna specialities, the family business also makes jams, honey, sweet spreads and several flavours of torrone.
