Use & care

Rinse the jar thoroughly before first use. Pull the lifter up by the handle to remove portions cleanly. The glass jar is dishwasher safe; however, do not pour boiling water directly into it.

No more fishing around for the last olive or gherkin with a fork. The Kilner Wide-Mouth Jar with Lifter makes pickled and fermented foods easier to serve. Pull up the integrated lifter to raise beetroot, silverskin onions, chillies and other pickles towards the top of the jar. The brine drains back through the holes in the base, helping keep the food crisp while keeping fingers out of the liquid.

The 1 L jar also features classic Kilner embossing and volume markings. Its two-piece metal screw-top lid is designed to create a reliable vacuum seal during preserving and help protect the flavour of the contents. Use this functional preserving jar with lifter in the pantry or bring it straight to the table for serving.
